Bam Margera Hosts a Game Show for TBS

Bam Margera isn’t deserting his Jackass roots as a game show host. No, he’s keeping the ‘ass’ part of Jackass, naming his new competition series Bam’s Bad Ass Game Show. TBS has just given the series, described as “over-the-top,” a six half-hour episode order.

Bam’s Bad Ass Game Show won’t be premiering on TBS until 2014, but the network’s already filling us in on what we can expect from the new series:

“Each week on Bam’s Bad Ass Game Show, competitors will vie for $10,000 by facing off against each other in incredibly demented, potentially dangerous and occasionally painful challenges, like answering trivia questions while dangling above a pool of trash-filled water or dropping a watermelon on a target after being shot out of a cannon. The loser of each challenge is eliminated until there’s only one contestant left standing to take home the cash prize.

Helping design and demonstrate the various challenges are Bam’s friends and cohorts, who occasionally wind up worse off than any of the contestants.”

Margera’s executive producing the series with David A. Hurwitz (Fear Factor) and Noah Bonnett (Total Blackout).
