IMAX unveiled a special poster in support of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice IMAX theatrical release, with the poster highlighting the fact that scenes were shot in the IMAX format. The new poster features Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) looking ready to rumble. Directed by Zack Snyder, the cast also includes Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Michael Shannon, Holly Hunter, Jeremy Irons, and Jason Momoa. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.
The Plot of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: Fearing the actions of Superman are left unchecked, Batman takes on Superman, while the world wrestles with what kind of a hero it really needs. With Batman and Superman fighting each other, a new threat, Doomsday, is created by Lex Luthor. It’s up to Superman and Batman to set aside their differences along with Wonder Woman to stop Lex Luthor and Doomsday from destroying Metropolis.
