BBC One Renews The Voice UK

The Voice UK LogoThe Voice UK has been renewed for two more seasons according to BBC Controller Charlotte Moore and Entertainment Commissioning Controller Mark Linsey. While announcing two more seasons, BBC One didn’t reveal who would be hosting or what celebrities would appear on the panel as coaches.
 
The Voice UK‘s current season is set to end on April 5, 2014. The current coaching panel includes Kylie Minogue, Sir Tom Jones, Ricky Wilson and will.i.am.
 
“It’s been fantastic to see The Voice return in top form to kick start BBC One’s brilliant year so far, the new line-up has really connected with audiences and I look forward to it returning to the channel next year,” said Charlotte Moore.
 
The Voice has really cemented itself as hugely popular on BBC One Saturday nights and I am delighted that we will be dusting down the iconic red chairs for another airing next year,” added Mark Linsey.


And Moira Ross, Head of Entertainment at Wall to Wall Media and the show’s executive producer said, “I’m so proud that after only three series The Voice really has become unmissable Saturday night television for millions of viewers and am delighted Wall to Wall and Talpa have been commissioned to make a further two series.”
