The Beach Boys Reunite for the Grammys

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards broadcast has just gotten a bit cooler. Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks from The Beach Boys are going to be performing together live for the first time in more than 20 years at the 2012 Grammys. The iconic group will team up with Foster The People (nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Pumped Up Kicks” and Best Alternative Music Album for Torches) and Maroon 5 (nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Moves Like Jagger” [with Christina Aguilera]) for a special performance during the February 12th broadcast.

The Recording Academy also announced The Civil Wars (nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Barton Hollow” and Best Folk Album for Barton Hollow), Diana Krall, Maceo Parker, and Joe Walsh are the latest performers to be added to the line-up of those set to take the stage at the star-studded event. And Common, Taraji P. Henson, Reba McEntire, and Diana Ross have been added as presenters.
