It’s official. Fox’s Gotham season three will introduce the DC villain Jervis Tetch also known as the Mad Hatter. According to Fox’s official announcement, “Jervis Tetch is a talented hypnotist teetering on the edge of madness. He arrives in Gotham with an unwavering desire to find his sister, Alice, a young woman who went missing in the city years ago. It is anyone’s guess just how far down the rabbit hole he’s willing to go in order to find her.”
The Walking Dead fans will recognize Benedict Samuel as The Wolf in seasons five and six. In addition, the 28 year-old Samuel’s credits include The Walk starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Australia’s The Beautiful Lie. His resume also includes Secret City, By Way of Helena, The Stanford Prison Experiment, Asthma, Underground, and Home and Away. He earned a spot in Vogue Australia’s ‘Actors to Watch’ list and has appeared as the lead on stage in “Tis Pity She’s a Whore.”
Gotham season three will premiere on September 19, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT. The dramatic series based on the DC Comics stars Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Morena Baccarin as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as The Penguin, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, and Michael Chiklis as Nathaniel Barnes. Cast members and executive producers from the popular series will be taking part in a panel at the San Diego Comic Con on Saturday, July 23rd at 2:10pm PT.
