The critically acclaimed primetime drama Billions has earned a fifth season order. Showtime just confirmed the series, which has four new episodes still to air in season four, has been picked up for season five.
The cast of the award-winning drama is led by Oscar nominee and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Paul Giamatti (Cinderella Man) and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis (Homeland). The cast of season four also includes Maggie Siff, Asia Kate Dillon, Toby Leonard Moore, David Costabile, Condola Rashad, Kelly AuCoin, Jeffrey DeMunn, and Malin Akerman. Samantha Mathis, Kevin Pollak, Jade Eshete, John Malkovich, Clancy Brown, and Nina Arianda guest star.
The series was created by Andrew Ross Sorkin, Brian Koppelman, and David Levien. Koppelman and Levien are executive producers and showrunners.

Season four airs on Sundays at 9pm ET/PT, with the finale set for June 9th. The current season’s averaging 4.2 million viewers.

“When everyone is out for revenge, no one is safe. Bobby Axelrod and Chuck Rhoades, former enemies, and Wendy Rhoades (Siff), the chief counselor to each, have come together to form an uneasy but highly effective alliance, aimed at the eradication of all their rivals, including Grigor Andolov (guest star John Malkovich), Taylor Mason (Dillon), Bryan Connerty (Moore) and Waylon “Jock” Jeffcoat (guest star Clancy Brown). Ambition and betrayal have long been at the heart of Billions, and this season all the characters find out exactly how high a price they’ll have to pay to satisfy those needs.”
