Directed by Oscar nominee Bruce Beresford (Tender Mercies, Breaker Morant) from a script by John Rice and Joe Batteer (Blown Away), Bonnie & Clyde traces the Depression era criminals Bonnie Parker (played by Holliday Grainger) and Clyde Barrow (Emile Hirsch). The cast also includes Holly Hunter as Bonnie’s mother, William Hurt as Texas Ranger Frank Hamer, Sarah Hyland as Blanche Barrow, Lane Garrison as Clyde’s brother, Elizabeth Reaser as writer P.J. Lane, Austin Hebert as lawman Ted Hinton, and Dale Dickey as Clyde’s mother.

The Plot:

Bonnie & Clyde retells the fascinating tale of the legendary couple whose crime spree enraptured the American public. Rumored to have a sixth-sense to see events before they happened, Barrow was always able to stay one step ahead of the law as they escaped capture time and again. His one blind spot was Parker, who was intent on becoming famous and fed on the alluring media attention, pushing Barrow to commit riskier and more dangerous crimes to generate bigger headlines and make them the most famous criminals of the modern era.
