Carrie Ann Inaba Named as a New Host of ‘The Talk’

Dancing with the StarsCarrie Ann Inaba is officially a part of CBS’s The Talk. Inaba kicked off the new year by making her debut as a host alongside Eve, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood.

Inaba isn’t a stranger to the daytime talk show having appeared as guest co-host during the past two seasons.

“Everyone’s Talking about it, and I’m excited to confirm it. We’re welcoming Carrie Ann Inaba to The Talk table,” stated Angelica McDaniel, Executive Vice President, Daytime Programs, CBS Entertainment. “Carrie Ann connects with audiences by being genuine. We appreciate her warmth, heart and vulnerability, and love what she brings to the show.”

Commenting on her new gig, Carrie Ann Inaba said, “Having the opportunity to sit at the table with Eve, Sara, Sharon and Sheryl has been such an enriching experience, and I’m honored and looking forward to joining them daily. It’s the authentic conversations and connection with the audience and the ladies that really drew me to The Talk. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this show.”

Inaba’s credits include In Living Color as one of the Fly Girls and one of Madonna’s dancers on her 1993 “The Girlie Show World Tour.” She’s hosted Game Show Network’s 1 vs 100 and Miss America, and was a recurring guest co-host on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

The new The Talk co-host has choreographed performances on American Idol, American Juniors, Dance Fever, TV Land Awards, Kids’ Choice Awards, and the American Music Awards. And she’s appeared in films including Austin Powers in Goldmember, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, American Virgin and Monster Mash.

The Talk was developed by Sara Gilbert. Gilbert also serves as an executive producer along with Emmy Award winner John Redmann.

The daytime talk show airs weekdays at 2pm ET, 1pm PT/CT.
