CBS Announces 2014 Summer Primetime Slate

CBS isn’t taking the summer off. Instead, the network’s set to debut two new dramatic series as well as bring back new seasons of two other dramas and a reality series. The network just released its 2014 summer schedule, with the new legal drama Reckless premiering on June 29th. Extant starring Halle Berry received a new premiere date and will make its debut on July 9th, a week later than previously announced. Unforgettable will air a third season starting on June 29th and Big Brother returns for its second summer season on June 25th with Julie Chen back as host. Meanwhile, Under the Dome kicks off season two on June 30th with an episode written by Stephen King.
 
According to the network, their summer schedule includes 90 hours of first-run programming.
