The Critics Choice Television Awards will take place on June 10, 2013, honoring programs and performances that aired between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2013. The organization was formed in 2011 and is made up of 77 television journalists working in electronic media, and this year marks the Broadcast Television Journalists Association’s (BTJA) third year hosting the awards.
“Now in our third year, the Critics Choice Television Awards gala has become the kickoff for the television award season and an opportunity for the industry to come together to celebrate its great work,” stated Joey Berlin, president of BTJA.
The 2013 nominees will be announced on May 23, 2013.
