Daft Punk to Perform on the 2014 Grammy Awards

Daft Punk’s confirmed to perform on the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast on January 26, 2014, marking their first television performance since they appeared on the Grammys back in 2008. In addition, Merle Haggard will perform live at the Grammy Awards for the first time, and P!nk will team up with Nate Ruess for their first performance together on network television.

Also confirmed to take the Grammy stage is nominee Kendrick Lamar, who’ll be joined by Imagine Dragons.

LL Cool J is returning to host the music awards show which will take place at Staples Center in Los Angeles and air live on CBS from 8-11:30pm ET/PT (tape-delayed on the West Coast).

Daft Punk’s up for four Grammy Awards: Album Of The Year and Best Dance/Electronica Album for Random Access Memories and Record Of The Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Get Lucky” (with Pharrell Williams). Imagine Dragons, P!nk, and Nate Ruess have two nominations each.
