‘Daredevil’ Will Be Back for Season Two

Daredevil Renewed for Season 2

Netflix’s new Marvel’s Daredevil series has earned rave reviews both from comic book fans and those who aren’t aware of the character (or are only familiar with Daredevil due to the Ben Affleck film). The series has proved to be a popular addition to Netflix’s lineup of original shows and has just earned a second season renewal order.

Season two will be available in 2016 with Charlie Cox back in the title role. The cast of season one also included Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Scott Glenn, Bob Gunton, Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis Hall, and Ayelet Zurer.

Announcing the renewal, Netflix also revealed that Doug Petrie (American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy) will be showrunners on the upcoming season. And Petrie and Ramirez will executive produce with Drew Goddard and Jeph Loeb.

The Plot:

Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
