Destination America just dropped two big announcements. One, the new Kindred Spirits series with ghost hunters Adam Berry and Amy Bruni has begun production. And two, the network’s planned a special Supernatural Super Panel for the 2016 San Diego Comic Con. The Supernatural Super Panel will take place on Friday, July 22nd from 7-8pm PT in Room 7AB of the San Diego Convention Center and will feature Paranormal Lockdown‘s Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman, Berry and Bruni from Kindred Spirits, and John Zaffis from Haunted Collector.

According to the official announcement, Kindred Spirits (the working title) “will premiere in 2016 exclusively on Destination America following the fearless duo as they help real families tormented by paranormal activity at home, with the added stress that the spirits may be their own late family members. Scared by the mysterious happenings but hesitant to pick up and leave their homes, these families have turned to two of America’s leading paranormal investigators to capture evidence, try to guide the wayward spirits into the light, and bring closure to each home.”

Kindred Spirits takes paranormal investigation back to its roots with a simple mission of making contact with the other side but, first and foremost, helping people who are terrified and don’t know where else to turn,” said Jane Latman, general manager of Destination America. “Over the years, Amy and Adam have built a kinship with each other and their fans that make them the best paranormal team to bring closure to these families and the perfect addition to our family here at Destination America.”

More on Destination America’s Comic Con Panel: Throughout their combined career, Nick Groff, Katrina Weidman, Adam Berry, Amy Bruni, and John Zaffis have more than 10,000 investigations under their belt, from famous haunts like The Exorcist house, the Stanley Hotel and the house on which A Haunting in Connecticut was based, to secret hotspots that only the bravest dare speak of. They rose to fame in some of TV’s hottest paranormal programs including Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, and Haunted Collector, but now call Destination America home and, for the first time together on stage, will regale the Comic-Con audience with tales of their darkest, creepiest, and most life-altering paranormal experiences. Also, they will discuss how the work of Ed and Lorraine Warren – Zaffis’ uncle and aunt – and the original paranormal Holy Grail of The Conjuring led them to where they are today. Additionally, they will make themselves available for all-access questions from fans, unveil never-before-seen footage, and reveal exclusive news to the Comic-Con audience about what Destination America has in store for a history-making Halloween.
