The new “real life” series Godfather of Pittsburgh is set to debut on A&E on November 10, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT. The new series will follow Vince Isoldi, a businessman with a sordid past, as he attempts to walk the straight and narrow.

The Plot, Courtesy of A&E:

From a young age Vince felt compelled to look after his family, often going to extreme measures to provide for them. Years later, little has changed – between his wife and sons, and his six brothers and sisters, Vince still finds himself playing the role of provider. While Vince isn’t proud of everything he’s done, he certainly doesn’t regret it either.

Vince’s wife Carla is always by his side for support and his father-in-law Junior Williams, now out of jail for racketeering and known as the “Numbers King” of Pittsburgh, serves as a mentor to Vince whenever he needs trusted advice. His three sons, Enzo, Adolfo and Romeo, are all like Vince in different ways. For Adolfo, that means business. When the eleven-year-old asked his father if he could run one of his businesses, he was handed the reins to his father’s limo company. Following his own rags-to-riches story, Vince struggles to say no to his three boys, often giving them anything and everything they ask for.

While the Italian-born family man is generous to a fault, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a dark side. Nothing upsets Vince more than betrayal, especially when it’s coming from someone he trusts. No one knows this better than Vince’s brother-in-law Sam, who has been ostracized from the family for crossing Vince. Vince’s relationship with his sister Rosa, Sam’s wife, is now a point of contention for the whole family. Vince must manage the challenges of family and business while trying not to resort back to his old ways.
