ABC Studios and Chop Shop/Atlantic Records announced the Grey’s Anatomy Original Soundtrack Volume 4 will be released on September 13, 2011, and the eighth season of Grey’s Anatomy will return on September 22nd. The 8th season will kick off with a two-hour premiere at 9pm.
Grey’s Anatomy Original Soundtrack Volume 4 includes songs from The Boxer Rebellion, Cee Lo Green, and The Republic Tigers. The soundtrack will also include “Heart On Fire” by British band Scars on 45, the song that’s currently featured in the Grey’s Anatomy season 8 promotion campaign. Grey’s Anatomy fans can download a live acoustic version of “Heart on Fire” at the ABC Music Lounge.
