Harrison Ford Earns Career Achievement Award

Harrison Ford has been selected to be the recipient of the 2013 Hollywood Career Achievement Award at this year’s Hollywood Film Awards. Ford will be joining a list of past Career Achievement award winners that includes Richard Gere, Glenn Close, Sly Stallone, Dustin Hoffman, Diane Keaton, and Kirk Douglas when he picks up the award at the October 21, 2013 gala event.

Ford was most recently seen on the big screen in 42, the dramatic film based on the life and baseball career of Jackie Robinson. He’ll next be in theaters starring in the sci-fi action film Ender’s Game.

“It is a great honor to celebrate Harrison Ford’s extraordinary talent and remarkable career with our ‘Hollywood Career Achievement Award,’” stated Carlos de Abreu, Founder and Executive Producer of the Hollywood Film Awards.

Highlights of Ford’s acting career include the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films, Witness, The Mosquito Coast, The Fugitive, The Conversation, Blade Runner, Working Girl, Regarding Henry, Presumed Innocent, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Air Force One, What Lies Beneath, and K-19: The Widowmaker.
