Veep will be back for a fourth season and Silicon Valley will return for season two as just announced today by HBO Programming President Michael Lombardo. The two comedy series earned renewal orders even though their current seasons just kicked off on April 6, 2014.

Veep was created by Armando Iannucci and stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Matt Walsh, Timothy C. Simons, Sufe Bradshaw and Kevin Dunn. Louis-Dreyfus plays Selina Meyer, the Vice President who is plotting a run for President.

Silicon Valley is set in the world of Silicon Valley engineers and is inspired by series creator Mike Judge’s experiences as an engineer back in the 1980s. The series stars Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Josh Brener, Amanda Crew, and the late Christopher Evan Welch.
