Casting Call: Heaven is for Real

Sony Pictures is looking for a boy to play a lead role in Heaven is for Real, the film adaptation of Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent’s bestselling book. The studio will be holding open casting calls in Southern California, with an eye on a late spring/early summer start of production.
 
Here’s the details, courtesy of Sony Pictures:
 
“The casting calls are specifically looking for a boy who can play the lead character, Colton Burpo, a Caucasian, blonde haired, blue eyed boy 4 to 5 years old with a lovely singing voice. No prior acting experience is required.
 
Those interested can choose between 1 of 2 days to participate in Southern California – Saturday, April 27th from 11:30am-2:30pm at the Palm Garden Hotel (495 N. Ventu Park Road, Thousand Oaks, CA 91320 – free parking at hotel) OR Sunday, April 28th from 12pm-3pm at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel (900 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660 – free parking at Fashion Island or $4/hour parking at hotel).”
