Constance Zimmer, Darren Criss (Glee), and Will Friedle are set to lend their voices to a brand new Transformers series coming to The Hub Network in 2015. The new series based on the Hasbro toy line is currently in production, with Hasbro Studios producing and Jeff Kline (Transformers Prime, G.I. Joe Renegades) executive producing.
According to the official announcement, the new series takes place “years after the battle between Autobots and Decepticons in Transformers Prime.” This Transformers series “centers around our hero Bumblebee stepping up to lead a brand new team of Autobots.”
Friedle will voice Bumblebee with Criss, Zimmer, and Ted McGinley tackling other voice roles. The new Transformers show will be an action comedy mixing 3D characters with hand-painted environments.
