BBC Three to Tell the Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito Story

BBC Three is set to premiere a new documentary Is Amanda Knox Guilty? focusing on the latest legal wranglings in the Amanda Knox story. The documentary, a joint project between the BBC and NBC News’ Peacock Productions, will explore the new twists and turns of the new trial, which ended on January 30, 2014, in a guilty verdict.

Is Amanda Knox Guilty?, the first TV documentary on the second guilty verdict, is directed by Andrea Vogt, produced by Paul Russell and Kate Hampson, and executive produced by Steve Anderson. BBC’s set a February 17, 2014 premiere date.

The new documentary will feature interviews with murder victim Meredith Kercher’s brother and sister, Stephanie and Lyle, lawyers, and legal experts.

“Andrea and Paul have followed every twist and turn of this story and captured all of the key moments and important interviewees,” said Steve Anderson. “We are grateful to the family of Meredith Kercher for their co-operation in the making of the programme.”
