The first performers have been announced for the upcoming 46th Annual CMA Awards to be held on November 1, 2012 in Nashville. Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson, and Little Big Town are confirmed for the star-studded Country awards show which will be hosted once again by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
Aldean’s nominated this year in the Entertainer, Male Vocalist, and Single of the Year categories while Bentley’s up for Album of the Year, Single of the Year, and Song of the Year. And this year marks Kelly Clarkson’s first nomination in the competitive Female Vocalist of the Year category.
Members of the Country Music Association will be voting on the winners, with the final ballot due on October 22nd.
Tickets for The 46th Annual CMA Awards will be available on Sept. 29 (10:00 AM/CT) through ticketmaster.com.
