Jason Derulo Prepares to Show Off Tattoos

Jason Derulo, who’s been keeping busy on the talk show/entertainment TV series circuit, will be releasing his third album this fall. Tattoos comes a year after Derulo was seriously injured preparing for his Future History World Tour, and besides promoting his upcoming album and new singles, the singer/songwriter had the opportunity to speak with President Obama and his staff – along with Jennifer Hudson, Amy Poehler, Michael Cera, and Aisha Tyler – to talk about the Affordable Care act and how because of his health care coverage “his life and livelihood were spared.”

The first single, “The Other Side,” off of Tattoos is currently in the top 5 on mainstream radio, marking his fourth Top 5 single. His second UK single “Talk Dirty” with a verse from 2 Chainz was just released and upon its release Jason said, “I’m really excited about the single. It has a feature and I’ve never done that before. It’s just a shocking song. When you hear it, you’ll know what I’m talking about. People will be thinking ‘Hmm, really?!’ It’s very out there, but it was so fun.”

Derulo’s sold more than 25 million tracks and since 2009 has had six Top 10 singles: “Watcha Say,” “In My Head,” “Ridin’ Solo”, “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” “It Girl,” and the latest, “The Other Side.”
