Sorry, but I have no idea what a Jerseylicious is and until Style Media announced it would be back, I hadn’t the slightest idea that it existed in the first place. However, it does have an audience and a fan base, and Style Media will be delivering more of the ‘docu-soap’ in early 2013.

Endemol USA is producing the 14 episode new season. Season four averaged 508,000 viewers and was Style’s number one show among women 18-49.

The Plot:

The complex, interwoven lives of these sassy stylists will feature new romances, opportunities and plenty of hair-raising drama. For four seasons, Jerseylicious fans have followed the tan-tastic rivalry between makeup artist Olivia and hair stylist Tracy who have fought over anything and everything from guys to friends, clients and clothes. Now, unusual circumstances have made them frenemies as they are involved in a highly-fueled feud with Gigi, who has shed her “good girl” image to be her own person, speaking her mind no matter who it hurts.

Meanwhile, Olivia contemplates returning to Anthony Robert Salon in a new role and using his salon as home base for her new company, which makes Tracy feel threatened – especially since her focus has shifted from her career to planning her new life with fiancé Corey. But her family’s disapproval of her relationship with Corey dampens Tracy’s enthusiasm for her upcoming wedding. As Gayle adjusts to the loss of Olivia at the Gatsby, Anthony, who is finally settled in his new salon space, looks for innovative ways to expand his business, including producing a book that is a retrospective on great moments in New Jersey history as depicted through hair and makeup styles. Also, salon manager Filippo pursues his dream career as an underwear model which could jeopardize his job with Anthony.
