Yes, that Justin Bieber. And yes, he’ll be appearing on more than one episode of So You Think You Can Dance so plan your viewing schedule accordingly. For those still into the Biebs, tune in during the four audition episodes beginning May 28, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT to check out a new dance crews element just added to the dance competition series. For those not into the Biebs, there’s always a fast-forward option if you’ve DVR’ed it or you can choose that time to make an after dinner snack.
Per the official announcement from Fox:
Bieber and [choreographer Nick DeMoura] will showcase two dance crews on each of the four audition episodes. After the crews are showcased, hash tags will be revealed that viewers can use to tweet their favorite of the two crews. The tweets will be tallied and the most popular crew overall will be invited to perform on the finale.
Cat Deeley will return as the SYTYCD host and Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy will return as judges. Season 11 will also feature guest judges Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Atlanta), Billy Porter and Misty Copeland (Philadelphia), Wayne Brady (New Orleans), Jenna Elfman and Fabrice Calmels (Chicago), and Christina Applegate (Los Angeles).
