Rockers Def Leppard and KISS will be on the road together this summer for a 40+ city tour kicking off on June 23, 2014 in West Valley City, Utah. The two rock bands will be hitting cities including Denver, Dallas, and Tampa before finishing up the summer tour in Woodlands, Texas on Sunday, August 31st. According to the official announcement, the groups are committed to providing their fans with the “most impressive lighting and sound production ever along with KISS’ signature over-the-top pyrotechnics” during their joint summer tour.
Tickets will go on sale at LiveNation.com on March 21st.
The summer tour will find the classic rockers honoring members of the military by providing special access to discounted tickets via a special pre-sale at Military.com at 10am local time on March 18th. In addition, military charities including the USO, Hiring Our Heroes, Project Resiliency/The Raven Drum Foundation, August Warrior Project and the Wounded Warrior Project will receive a portion of the concert ticket sales.
Between the two rock groups, they’ve reached over 200 million in album sales and have 30+ chart-topping singles.
