HBO’s debuting the premiere of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver‘s second season on February 8, 2015 at 11pm ET/PT. The half-hour news show takes a satirical look at current events, with host John Oliver putting his own unique spin on what’s really going on in the world.

The network says season two will consist of 35 all-new episodes, with Last Week Tonight taping on Sunday nights in New York just hours before it airs on HBO. In addition to the content featured on HBO, Oliver has put out short web-exclusive videos including the recently released “Fifty Shades #NotMyChristian Apology.” Oliver’s take on Jamie Dornan’s casting as Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey includes an alternate choice for that erotic role.
