Lena Dunham in 'Girls' - Photo © HBOGirls creator and star Lena Dunham will be making her Saturday Night Live hosting debut on the March 8, 2014 episode of the late night series. Dunham will be joined on the episode by The National who will also be making their SNL debut as musical guest. The National most recent album is Trouble Will Find Me which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Album.
The National’s also releasing the documentary Mistaken For Strangers in March.
March 2014 will kick off on SNL with The Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons as host and Beck as musical guest.
