Liddell Entertainment Forms New Distribution Company

David Dinerstein has been named the head of Liddell Entertainment’s newly formed theatrical distribution company, LD Distribution. LD Distribution’s roster of upcoming films includes director William Friedkin’s Killer Joe with Matthew McConaughey, Disconnect starring Jason Bateman and True Blood‘s Alexander Skarsgard, and The Collection from the writers of Saw lV, V and Vl.

The company is planning to release four to six films during its first year.

“We are thrilled to bring David Dinerstein on board to run our new distribution operation. He is one of the leading independent marketers in our business and we are confident that he is the right person to lead the charge with our extraordinary slate of films,” stated Mickey Liddell in the official press announcement.

“LD Distribution plans to take an innovative and forward-thinking approach to the marketing and distribution of our films. Mickey and I look forward to building a successful company on both a creative and economic level,” said David Dinerstein.

Per the press release, Dinerstein’s duties will include helping to “manage the upcoming releases of Liddell productions and acquisitions by current distribution partners, including The Grey starring Liam Neeson and directed by Joe Carnahan which is being distributed by Open Road; Academy contender, Albert Nobbs starring Glenn Close and Janet McTeer, with Roadside Attractions; and Silent House starring Elizabeth Olsen, also with Open Road.
