The Lone Ranger Ride for Justice Tour

Disney’s releasing The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the masked man in theaters on July 3, 2013, and in support of the upcoming theatrical release they’re placing life-size statues of the two main characters across the country. The Ride for Justice tour kicked off in New York City at 18th Street in Union Square and will continue through the release date, with the final stop in LA to coincide with the movie’s opening date.

Among the cities where The Lone Ranger and Tonto will be popping up are New Orleans, Denver, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. Fans have to figure out where the life-size figures will be, and their locations could include rooftops [as pictured above] and famous landmarks.

Besides just being photo ops, fans who spot The Lone Ranger characters will be eligible for a chance to win a trip for two to New Mexico. If you spot the characters, you can enter for a shot at winning at Disney.com/loneranger/ and/or Instagram or Tweet a photo or the location using the #LRRideforJustice hashtag.
