Gerard Butler has some company in the remake of Point Break, the 1991 action film that starred Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. Alcon Entertainment’s Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson announced Luke Bracey has snagged the role of Johnny Utah (originally played by Reeves) in director Ericson Core’s take on the still-popular film.

Bracey’s character is a young FBI agent who goes undercover in the world of extreme sports to bust a criminal gang.

Filming’s expected to take place this summer.

Bracey’s credits include G.I. Joe: Retaliation and the upcoming The Best of Me with Michelle Monaghan.
