Maroon 5 Announces the First Single Off of ‘V

Maroon 5’s confirmed the first single off of their upcoming albums, V, will be “Maps.” “Maps” will arrive on radio and iTunes on June 16, 2014. V, Maroon 5’s fifth studio album, will be released on September 2nd.

V was produced by Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Sam Martin. Keyboardist Jesse Carmichael returned to the band after a brief hiatus with the album.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has also been busy with his part-time gig as a coach of The Voice, a brief appearance in American Horror Story, and he co-stars in the upcoming romantic comedy/drama Begin Again with Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley.


The group released their fourth album Overexposed in 2012, launching hit singles “Daylight,” “Payphone,” and “One More Night.” With the release of “Daylight,” the group set a new record for the most #1’s by a band in Billboard’s Top 40 chart history.
