The Voice coach Adam Levine will be joined by his band, Maroon 5, for the Thursday, November 8, 2012 episode of the singing competition. The performance will mark the group’s debut of their new single “Daylight.”

Also hitting The Voice stage during the first live results show of the season will be season #2 champion Jermaine Paul. Paul will perform his debut single, “I Believe In This Life.”

The November 8th episode will narrow the field of competitors to just 12 artists, with two singers from each team having to say good-bye to their coach and the show. Per NBC: “In the first elimination show of the season, the two artists who receive the most viewer votes on each team from the previous nights’ Live Playoffs, will be saved and guaranteed a spot in the Monday, November 12 Live Show. Meanwhile, each coach is tasked with the difficult decision of choosing one more artist from the remaining three to move forward in the competition and perform in the next week’s Live Show, thereby eliminating the other artists.”
