Marvel’s teasing fans with the announcement of five release dates for upcoming movies. Why is it a tease? Because while they’ve confirmed dates through 2019, Marvel hasn’t officially announced the names of any of the feature films.
With the just-announced five dates, the studio now has seven unknown films heading to theaters on:
-July 8, 2016
-May 5, 2017
-July 28, 2017
-November 3, 2017
-July 6, 2018
-November 2, 2018
-May 3, 2019
While the internet will be buzzing with speculation about which projects are filling the dates, it’s likely Marvel will hold off answering until their presentation on Saturday, July 26th at the San Diego Comic Con. Rumor has it the July 8, 2016 slot will be filled by Doctor Strange, and Disney/Marvel also have The Avengers: Age of Ultron opening on May 1, 2015 followed by Ant-Man on July 17, 2015, and the third Captain America film on May 6, 2016.
