Michael Fassbender Wants Your Vote

Michael Fassbender talks about why now is a very exciting time for would-be filmmakers in this video for the Your Film Festival on YouTube. Ridley Scott (Fassbender’s Prometheus director) and YouTube teamed up to give up-and-coming filmmakers a chance to compete for a $500,000 grand prize production deal with Scott Free Productions.

The top 50 semi-finalists have been selected by Scott Free Productions and voting is now open to the public at youtube.com/yourfilmfestival to see who makes the top 10. Voting closes July 13th so hurry and cast your vote.

More than 15,000 submissions were received representing 160 countries. 10 of the lucky finalists will attend the Venice Film Festival where their short film will screen in August.
