Monty Python The Holy Book of Days
Melcher Media announced the upcoming release of the new iPad app “Monty Python: The Holy Book of Days” which will be debuting with the Blu-ray™ release of Monty Python and the Holy Grail from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on March 6th. The app – created in conjunction with Monty Python members John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin – recreates the 28 days of location shooting of the comedy film.

The “Monty Python: The Holy Book of Days” app provides Monty Python fans with an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film. The interactive experience contains never-before-seen material including outtakes, rehearsals, raw audio recordings, songs, sound effects, scripts, and film stills. And according to Melcher Media, “new illustrations, animations, and the story of the filming in the Pythons’ own words make each of the film’s production days come alive.”

“Every page of ‘Monty Python: The Holy Book of Days’ is packed with Python history, from Michael Palin’s day-by-day diary of the filming, to Terry Gilliam’s storyboards, to the original continuity sheets covering every shot, to 360° views of actual props and costumes from the movie.
