‘Mother’s Day’ Debuts a New Poster with Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston

Pretty people smiling grace the new poster for the comedy Mother’s Day from director Garry Marshall (the man behind Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve). According to the promos, Mother’s Day honors mothers everywhere and stars Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Jason Sudeikis, and Kate Hudson. The ensemble cast also includes Britt Robertson, Timothy Olyphant, Hector Elizondo (a constant presence in Garry Marshall’s films), and Jack Whitehall. Open Road Films is aiming for an April 29, 2016 theatrical release.

Anya Kochoff, Matt Walker, and Tom Hines wrote the screenplay and Kevin Frakes, Ankur Rungta, Matthew Hooper, Jared D. Underwood, Danny Mandel, Rodger May, Fred Grimm, Bill Heavener, Scott Lipsky, Leon Corcos, Deborah E. Hause, and William Bindley executive produced the PG-13 rated comedy.

The Plot: “Bringing together Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Julia Roberts along with Jason Sudeikis, it’s a celebration of mothers everywhere. This big-hearted comedy invites us all to enjoy the laughter, tears and love as three generations come together in the week leading up to Mother’s Day.”
