NBC announced they’ll be airing a six-minute ‘tease’ of the new series Revolution during their Olympics coverage at approximately 10:54pm ET on August 4th. The tease will air immediately following the swimming competition, which will feature, hopefully, U.S. Gold Medalist Michael Phelps.

The network’s also going to be showing full episodes (commercial-free) of two new fall shows before their regular time-period premieres. Go On will preview on August 8th followed by a special showing of Animal Practice on August 12th. And NBC says that after they’ve aired on TV, they’ll be available to online viewers for the two weeks leading up to their broadcast premiere dates.

Announcing the preview screenings, Robert Hayes, Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment Digital, stated: “We are excited to have this unique opportunity to share our new fall shows. We’re taking the proven success of sampling to the next level, expanding its reach with a comprehensive strategy that makes our entire freshman line-up widely available across multiple digital platforms.”
