VH1 Prepares for Off Pitch Premiere

VH1 LogoThe Grand River Singers are set to entertain audiences with the new VH1 comedy reality series Off Pitch debuting on April 17, 2013 at 10pm. The new show follows the young adult show choir as they pursue their goal of taking the “Grand River Singers out of La Crosse, Wisconsin and onto a much larger stage like… the Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival or the Sheboygan Bratwurst Festival.”

Off Pitch is reality comedy gold. The Grand River Singers are just so authentic and passionate in their pure love for music and performing that you can’t help but cheer them on.” stated Jeff Olde, VH1’s Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development.

The Plot:

Partners Rob and Tim, and founders of GRS, lead the group of 20-somethings and view them as their own kids. Whether they love to sing, dance or just wear feather boas, each member of GRS whole-heartedly believes that in order to get ahead in life, all you need are a pair of shiny tap shoes, a big voice and a well-rehearsed routine. But with big talent comes even bigger egos. They’ll stop at nothing to win the power ballad solo or be the featured breakout dancer in the La Crosse’s coveted Oktoberfest Parade. Join us for a real look into both the performance and backstage lives of this tight-knit musical family.

Will they be able to set aside their differences, perfect their numbers, and perform before the largest audiences they’ve ever known? Harmony, talent and friendship have never been more Off Pitch.
