Olivia Munn Signs Up for ‘Six’ Season 2

History’s action drama Six has added Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse) to the season two cast. Munn will be joining returning stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Nadine Velazquez, Dominic Adams, Jaylen Moore, and Lindsley Register in the 10 episode second season which is set to begin production soon in Vancouver. Per History, Munn will be playing Gina, “a ruthless and smart CIA operative who rose from being a CIA Shooter to a high level Operations Officer.”


Six was created by Oscar nominee William Broyles (Apollo 13) and special operations veteran David Broyles. William and David Broyles executive produce along with Harvey and Bob Weinstein, Bruce C. McKenna, Alfredo Barrios, Jr., George W. Perkins, David Glasser, Nicolas Chartier, Meryl Poster, and Barry Jossen.. Retired U.S. Navy SEAL Mitchell Hall (Zero Dark Thirty, Lone Survivor) is the series’ technical advisor and producer.

The first season averaged 3.2 million viewers and took the #1 spot on the ad-supported cable new original series of 2017 list.

The Plot: The series is inspired by the real missions of Navy SEAL Team Six, the unit best known for killing Osama Bin Laden. Six depicts the emotional truths of what it means to be in SEAL Team Six, their complex personal lives and the life and death decisions that protect American interests.
