HBO’s ‘Room 104’ Gets a July Premiere Date

HBO officially announced the half-hour series Room 104 will premiere on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11pm ET/PT. The new anthology series comes from Mark Duplass and Jay Duplass (Animals, Togetherness) who serve as executive producers along with Xan Aranda and co-executive producer Ross Partridge. The series has an impressive collection of writers and directors on board for its 12 episode season one run, including the writing/directing team of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck who are set to tackle the big budget superhero film, Captain Marvel.

Additional writers include Xan Aranda, Ross Partridge, Mark Duplass, Dayna Hanson, and Carson Mell. The list of Room 104 directors includes Patrick Brice, Marta Cunningham, Doug Emmett, Megan Griffiths, Dayna Hanson, Chad Hartigan, Ross Partridge, Sarah Adina Smith, and So Yong Kim.


HBO also revealed the season one cast features Hugo Armstrong, Davie-Blue, Melonie Diaz, Jay Duplass, Veronica Falcon, Adam Foster, Ellen Geer, Keir Gilchrist, Philip Baker Hall, Sarah Hay, Poorna Jagannathan, Orlando Jones, Ethan & Gavin Kent, Amy Landecker, Konstantin Lavysh, Sameerah Luqmaan-Harris, Keta Meggett, Natalie Morgan, Ross Partridge, Karan Soni, Dendrie Taylor, Tony Todd, Will Tranfo, James Van Der Beek, and Mae Whitman.

The Plot: Set in a single room of an average American motel, ROOM 104 tells a different story of the assorted characters who pass through it in each episode.
