Josh Brolin and Sofia Vergara to Host SNL

NBC announced the hosts of the April 2012 episodes of Saturday Night Live, with Modern Family stand-out and Emmy nominated actress Sofia Vergara tapped to lead the way on April 7th. Vergara will be making her first appearance as host on the show which will feature musical performances by One Direction. The popular award-winning group will also be making their first appearance with the April 7th episode.
 
Oscar nominee Josh Brolin (soon to be seen in Men in Black 3) is set to host on April 14th, marking his second appearance on the show. The musical guest on the 14th will be first-time SNL guest, Goyte.

One Direction will make their debut appearance as musical guest. The group’s BRIT Award-winning debut single, “What Makes You Beautiful,” was the highest debut for a UK group in over 15 years on the Billboard HOT 100. The group released their debut album Up All Night in the United States on March 13th. Up All Night is already a global success entering the charts at number one in six countries.
