Stephen Colbert Announces Colbchella 2012 Rocktaugustfest

I challenge you to say that title three times fast… Stephen Colbert is presenting a summer concert series to be known as
“Pepsi Presents StePhest Colbchella ‘012: Rocktaugustfest” set to take place on August 10th at New York City’s Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Tickets are free via colbertnation.com
 
Musical acts scheduled to perform at Rocktaugustfest include The Flaming Lips, fun., Grandmaster Flash, Grizzly Bear and Santigold.
 
“We are gonna rock the boat, which won’t be easy because the Intrepid displaces 41,434 tons,” said Stephen Colbert. Adding, “Does Bonnaroo have cruise missiles? I think not.”
 
Don’t feel bad if you’re aren’t among the 1,500 in attendance at the event as Comedy Central will be airing the performances, as well as interviews with the talent, throughout the week of August 13th. The Colbert Report airs at 11:30pm Monday through Friday on Comedy Central.
