Style Picks Up Three New Original Series

Style Greenlights Three New ShowsCharlize Theron’s in business with Style Media, setting up the competition series Glam Squad at the network. But Theron’s not the only one moving forward with a project at the network; Style’s also greenlit three other original series which could be debuting later this year.
 
Style is set to premiere Pop Style, a topical fashion series hosted by Jeannie Mai and Louise Roe, this spring as well as a docu-series from real estate mogul Katrina Campins. The network’s also bringing back to the small screen Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous in a ‘reimagined’ version.
 
“Continuing our momentum from 2012, Style Media has already had an impressive start to 2013 with our new and returning series,” stated Salaam Coleman Smith, President, Style Media, announcing the new series. “Since fourth quarter, we have seen a huge surge in advertiser support, and we hope to continue this incredible trend with our incredible new programming slate which aims to hyper-serve our passionate audience in the fashion and stylish living space.”

Hosted by Jeannie Mai and Louise Roe, this weekly topical studio-based series will advise Style viewers on how to look good and live stylishly, updating them on the latest news in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and pop culture. With a rotating panel of expert contributors and live polling activations, viewers will have the opportunity to chat with the hosts and participate from their mobile devices and through StyleNetwork.com. From accessible fashion cues and the hottest trends in entertainment to the coolest tech gadgets and most buzzworthy restaurants, no topic will be left uncovered.

The new series will take viewers into the lifestyles and perks of the elite crowd. This humorous, informative and fun ride will travel through the most glamorous locations and hotspots in the world.

This docu-series features the life and business of Katrina Campins, former Apprentice star and a successful high-end Miami real estate agent. Campins, who caters to over 350 A-list celebrities, athletes and wealthy professionals, has amassed an impressive client list that includes Russell Brand, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Kevin Durant and Timbaland. She runs her business with her charming ex-husband, her controlling Cuban mother and her younger sister. Viewers will get an inside look at the drama of helping high-end clients buy and sell luxury real estate in sultry Miami, along with the trials and tribulations of Katrina searching for true love and happiness. From the beach to the boardroom, the series will follow Katrina and her team of realtors as they explore Miami’s most luxurious properties – beautiful beaches and the hottest bars, clubs and restaurants.
