USA Network’s very happy with Suits‘ fourth season numbers and has given the show a fifth season 16 episode order. Suits, starring Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams, is currently airing its fourth season and has been drawing in an average of 4 million views.

Suits is ranked in the top 10 among summer scripted series in the 18-49 age group.

Suits continues to fire on all cylinders, delivering provocative storytelling and complex characters that viewers can’t get enough of,” stated Chris McCumber, President of USA Network, announcing the renewal. “With some of the best writing on television, and a brilliant ensemble cast, we anticipate a spectacular fifth season for a series that has become a marquee property for USA.”

The Plot: Suits centers on a fast-paced Manhattan corporate law firm led by legendary lawyer Harvey Specter (Macht). This season saw a major shift at the firm that left Harvey at odds with his brilliant but not-technically-legal associate Mike Ross (Adams) who left to head to Wall Street as an investment banker. As the series builds to its summer finale, Mike has returned to Pearson Specter to resume his place beside Harvey, but Louis’ (Rick Hoffman) secret threatens to unravel the firm.
