Supernatural‘s 12th season continues with episode two airing on October 20, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT. Episode two titled ‘Mamma Mia’ introduces actor/musician Rick Springfield as a rocker who’s possessed by Lucifer. Episode two was directed by Thomas J. Wright from a script by Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Leming. The cast is led by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki and includes Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard, Samantha Smith, and Ruth Connell.
The Mamma Mia Plot: RICK SPRINGFIELD GUEST STARS — Dean (Ackles), Castiel (Collins) and Mary (Smith) have a lead on Sam (Padalecki) and set out to rescue him. Dean is uncomfortable with putting Mary in danger but she insists on going along. Meanwhile, Crowley (Sheppard) is tipped off that Lucifer has taken over the body of rock star Vince Vicente (Springfield).
