The fourth album from six-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift is set for release on October 22, 2012. Red features 16 tracks and unlike her most recent album, Speak Now, Swift actually had co-writers involved on this album.

“For the last two years, I’ve been working on an album called Red,” said Swift. “I called it Red because of the tumultuous, crazy adventures in love and loss that it chronicles. In my mind, when you experience love that’s fast-paced and out of control and mixes infatuation, jealousy, frustration, miscommunication, and all of those lovely emotions…in retrospect, it all looks red.”

Red‘s first single is “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which she co-wrote with Max Martin and Shellback), now available on iTunes and other digital outlets.
