In a smart move by TBS based on not just the ratings but on recent statements made by CeeLo Green, the network’s canceled the little-seen The Good Life reality show after one season. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the cancellation following a six-episode run that was watched by just 677,00 viewers.

Although THR reports TBS made the decision based solely on the show’s numbers, Green’s tweets from this weekend about women and rape most likely made that decision much easier. The tweets were met with outrage, and he’s since deleted the tweets which of course doesn’t mean a thing on the internet as they were captured and retweeted before he got rid of them.

CeeLo deactivated his account but then returned with the tweets missing from his timeline. Buzzfeed captured them and has a great article about Green’s weekend Twitter escapades.

The Twitter episode came just days after Green entered a no-contest plea to secretly giving a woman Ecstasy in 2012.
