‘The Voice’s Tessanne Chin To Sing at the White House

Tessanne Chin’s about to visit one of the most famous residences in the world. The Jamaican singer with the gorgeous voice and the huge fan following thanks in large part to her time spent on The Voice is confirmed to perform at the White House.

Chin was invited to be a part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Women of Soul concert series. Chin will perform on March 6, 2014 as part of a lineup that includes Aretha Franklin, Ariana Grande, Jill Scott, Patti LaBelle, Melissa Etheridge, and Janelle Monáe.

For those who didn’t get the invitation to attend (it was probably lost in the mail, right?), the Women of Soul concert will be streamed live at WhiteHouse.gov/live beginning at 7:30pm ET. It will also be broadcast on April 7, 2014 at 9pm ET on PBS stations.

Chin was the winner of season five of NBC’s The Voice as a member of Team Adam (Levine). Check out this video of one of her best performances:
