The upcoming 7th season of The Celebrity Apprentice (and 14th overall of The Apprentice series) will feature 16 celebrities including a guy from Deadliest Catch, a comedian, an NFL player, and two Olympic athletes. Just announced on the Today show, the cast of season seven includes Kate Gosselin (TV personality), Kevin Jonas (musician), Gilbert Gottfried (comedian), Shawn Johnson (gymnast), Geraldo Rivera (journalist), Leeza Gibbons (TV personality), Sig Hansen (Deadliest Catch captain), Kenya Moore (TV personality), Ian Ziering (actor), Keshia Knight Pulliam (actor), Johnny Damon (MLB player), Lorenzo Lamas (actor), Jamie Anderson (snowboarder), Vivica A. Fox (actress), and Brandi Glanville (reality TV personality).
The Celebrity Apprentice premieres on NBC on January 4, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT.
“This season of The Celebrity Apprentice is on point to be the best yet,” said Mr. Trump. “With 16 extraordinary contestants bringing their energy to the boardroom, it is sure to be a hit, as always.”
The Celebrity Apprentice will also be bringing back previous season winners Bret Michaels, Piers Morgan, and Trace Adkins to work as advisors. The late Joan Rivers, winner of season two, will also be seen in two of the upcoming season’s episodes. Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump will also be advising Donald Trump on who to let move on in the competition and who to get rid of.
The winner of this season will be awarded a $250,000 bonus check to give to their designated charity. Thus far, The Celebrity Apprentice has donated over $14 million to charity.
