Toby Keith’s Helping Out Oklahoma Tornado Victims

Toby Keith’s Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert is set to take place on Saturday, July 6, 2013 with Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Trisha Yearwood, Carrie Underwood, and Ronnie Dunn among the musicians scheduled to entertain the crowd during the benefit concert. The July 6th event will be held at the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium and the proceeds will go toward assisting those who were affected by the tornadoes that hit the state in May.

“I grew up in Moore, I live in Norman and I’ve got lots of family and friends who were directly affected,” said Toby Keith. “I know these folks and they’re resilient, but we’re going to keep helping them any way we can. I’m proud to get together with some others from around here who are just as committed as I am to supporting these communities.”

Also contributing to the benefit concert is Fireman’s Fund, with the company supplying insurance for the event at no cost. “Fireman’s Fund is excited to participate in Toby Keith’s Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert to help those affected by the recent tornadoes,” stated Lauren Bailey, vice president of entertainment at Fireman’s Fund. “As a leading insurer of country musicians and concerts, we’re honored to help make this concert a success to assist in the rebuilding and restoration of these Oklahoma communities.”
